I missing it's title block, vol. II missing part of it's title block, both spines starting, leather covers are toned and lightly water stained, vol. I's back cover is missing a small part of the leather and reveals the interior board, corners starting on both, ffep missing on both volumes, back blank pages missing on both volumes, lightly foxed throughout. Near good copies which still display well and save the foxing have clean interiors. 

This edition is edited by Samuel Cooper and features notes by A. Sidney Doane. John Mason Good was awarded by the Medical Society of London for his essay on medical technology and workhouse diseases, and was elected to the prestigious scientific fellowship in London. As well as introducing new systems to the medical field, John Mason Good and his research has had an ever-lasting impact on medical studies, especially in the late 18th century and early 19th century.
